Gas Prices Going Down, Down, Down This Summer
Warm weather is here, and that means a lot of folks are out traveling for family vacations. And this summer, it looks like it will cost way less to fill up the tank for your next destination.
According to Bloomberg, prices are set to plunge this summer, and could drop by as much as 16 cents a gallon by next week. AAA says that last year at this time gas was, on average, $2.92 a gallon, and with an 18% drop in crude oil prices, the average across the US today is $2.75 a gallon. It seems to be much less in Louisiana, however. AAA is saying the average for the Bayou State today is $2.34 a gallon.
