Guys Across the World Rejoice — Katy Perry, Russell Brand Split

She may not be a country singer by any stretch of the imagination, but most of you know who Katy Perry is. The 27-year-old has seemingly been happily married to comedian/actor Russell Brand.

It was announced today, however, that the couple has ended their 14-month marriage.

According to a statement from Brand, "sadly, Katy and I are ending our marriage. I'll always adore her and I know we'll remain friends."

That's all that the 36-year-old Brit would say about the situation.

I don't think many people saw this coming. But somehow, just somehow, I believe Ms. Perry won't have much problem filling her dance card.
