Happy 30th Birthday Downtown Alive!

Friday is the kickoff for the 30th anniversary of Downtown Alive! in Lafayette, and they have a great fall lineup to celebrate. Kermit Ruffins and the Barbeque Swingers will take the stage at Parc International at 5:30 with food and beverage concessions – musical performances are from 6:00 p.m.-8:30 p.m.

DTA! features performances by Grammy nominated, renowned and up and coming musicians representing a variety of genres: Cajun, Zydeco, Blues, Rock, Funk, New Orleans Jazz and more. The Fall season also includes the UL Pep Rally on October 5th at Parc Sans Souci and the DTA! edition of Festivals Acadiens et Creoles October 12th at Parc International.
