Happy National Boss Day, Boss!

It seems like every day there's some new "holiday" we have to celebrate. Now we get to "celebrate" the person that makes all the money and gets all the glory, our boss!

Today is National Boss Day.

Oh, and the funny part (at least to me) is that this day was invented by a State Farm Insurance secretary in Deerfield, Illinois back in 1958. Talk about kissing up to the boss man?

However, she does have her own day too.

You know, come to think of it, about the only hard-working people in the workforce that doesn't have their own day are, well, the hard-working people! (Labor Day doesn't count. Everyone gets that day off.)

Although I kid, we do have a very nice boss here at the radio station. I think I'll take him to lunch. I'll make him put it on the company credit card, but I'll still take him to lunch.
