Harvest Festival on False River Set for This Weekend in New Roads
A great festival is going on this weekend just down the road in historic New Roads -- it's the 3rd Annual Harvest Festival on False River.
This quaint river town has quite a charming downtown and that is the setting for this up-and-coming festival. The best part is that admission is free.
The Harvest Festival has great food, arts & crafts, rides, a 5K run, a fireworks show, two music stages and much more.
Here's the schedule for the weekend:
Friday, October 18th: 6pm-10pm
Saturday, October 19th: 10am-10pm
Sunday, October 20th: 12pm-6pm
The musical line-up is fantastic and is highlighted by country legend Pam Tillis on Saturday night (8:30pm) and Steel Magnolia on Sunday afternoon (4:00pm).
