Help Us Find a Home for Rita: Adopt-a-Dawg [Must Watch]

Here at 97.3 The Dawg we’re kind of a little partial to our four-legged furry friends.

Unfortunately, there are more animals than you may imagine that need a good home. Shelters throughout Acadiana are sometimes overflowing with lovable, family friendly dogs that are just looking for someone to care and love them.

We decided to try to help out in this cause by getting more of these sweet babies adopted and/or fostered into loving homes.

In the video above you’ll meet our friend Rita.

Rita is one of the more mature pups at Animal Rescue Foundation of Louisiana but would still make a great companion.

The now 12-year-old was separated from her owner during the floods of 2016 and has been in ARFLA's care ever since. While a permanent home would be ideal, they are also looking for a foster family to take her in.

The good thing in this case for you is that ARFLA will pay for her food and medicine. You just provide her the love and attention she deserves.
