It was on this very day all the way back in 1951 that MGM released Hank Williams' "Hey Good Lookin'." The song of course went on to become one of the signature tunes of one of the greatest singers of all-time.

The song has been covered several times since then by singers from many genres. However, one notable re-recording came in 2004 when Jimmy Buffett recorded a star-studded version for his License to Chill album. Clint Black, Kenny Chesney, Alan Jackson, Toby Keith and George Strait were all featured on this rendition, which peaked at #8 on the Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks.

It got us to wondering, what's your favorite Hank Williams, Sr. song? Doc will be in tonight for Classic Country Saturday Night and he'll try to play some of your favorites.
