Hibiscus Show Set For Lafayette Sunday

Hibiscus are one of my favorite flowers. I like them because they are the one blooming plant in my yard that actually blooms in spite of me. I don't know that much about growing them but I know where you and I both can find out a lot more.

This Sunday at the Cathedral Carmel gymnasium the Mike Bernard Acadiana Chapter of the American Hibiscus Society is presenting it's 12th annual show and sale. Not only will there be some beautiful plants on display but you'll be able to purchase plants too. The experts will be on hand to offer advice on how you can learn to grow show quality hibiscus too.

The bloom entry is set for 9am and the plant sale begins at 1pm. If you're planning on purchasing a plant or products they will be accepting cash and checks only.
