Get out your Puka Beads and Bucket Hat, Hootie and the Blowfish are set to tour the US spanning 44 shows.

Forming in 1986, Hootie and the Blowfish gained popularity doing independent touring in the late 80s and early 90s. In 1994, Cracked Rearview Mirror was released and became an instant hit, going platinum 16 times, and becoming the best selling album in 1995. That album out the South Carolina band on the map, and paved the road for their success.

For those that may not know about Hootie and the Blowfish, you might recognize the lead singer. Darius Rucker was the front man for Hootie and the Blowfish, and features a medly of "Hootie" songs during his country show.

It seems the band is back together and preparing to release an album, after 15 years. The new album will be released in 2019 on the 25th anniversary of the debut album that gave them all the success.
