House In The Middle Of A River [Video]

Location, Location, Location that is what they say is important in any real estate transaction. I would say if you love the water and don't mind being by yourself then this is the property for you.

This house was built in 1968 on a rock in the middle of the Drina River on the border of  Serbia and Bosnia Herzegovina. It was originally built by teenagers as a getaway place for swimming, sunbathing and probably some other activities we can't really discuss here.

It is kept up by one of the original builders and is still in use today. He has made some interesting modifications to the house to protect it from flooding. Perhaps some of his designs could be useful for camps along our coastline when tropical storms threaten the area.
