Household Hazardous Waste Day Set For Saturday, October 20th at Cajun Field

Twice a year, Lafayette Consolidated Government puts on a Household Hazardous Waste Day. This allows residents a way to properly dispose of their household chemicals.

Your next chance to take advantage of this service is Saturday, October 20 from 8 am to Noon at Cajun Field. (Enter at Gate 3 on Congress)

This is a free service to all those living within the City of Lafayette or unincorporated areas of the parish. You're encouraged to have a picture ID with you when you drop off your items.

What can you drop off? Below is a list of items accepted and some things that are not accepted.
