I stumbled upon this great little article with some pretty good tips on how to improve your health and beauty. The tip that caught my attention is about one that many of us strive to have: whiter teeth.

What's the suggestion? Brush less!

Who would've thought? According to the American Dental Association (ADA), most people think they should brush after every meal when in fact the ADA recommends only twice a day. Brushing too much can erode the enamel of your teeth, making them weaker, prone to more cavities, and less white.

It is also suggested that you wait at least thirty minutes to brush after you have eaten acidic foods such as tomatoes or citric fruit. Brushing immediately afterward can push the acid deeper into your teeth, causing further erosion.
