The governors of Louisiana and Iowa made a friendly bet on social media back on Sunday, April 2nd, ahead of the NCAA Women's Basketball Championship Game between LSU and Iowa.

Of course, LSU won that game 102-85, claiming the school's first title in that sport.

And now, Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds is holding up her end of the bargain -- by sending a whole bunch of pork down to the Bayou State.

As you can see in the tweet, Reynolds is sending Gov. John Bel Edwards a dozen pork chops and will also send over 1,250 pounds of pork to local food banks.

This all stems from the friendly wager ahead of the National Championship Game. Edwards bet Reynolds some Louisiana boudin that the Tigers and Coach Kim Mulkey would walk away with the championship.

And of course, Gov. Reynolds replied by saying she would wager some Iowa pork that the Hawkeyes would win.

After the Tigers beat the Hawkeyes on April 2, Gov. Edwards tweeted: "Can't wait for Louisiana red beans and rice with fried Iowa pork chops! Geaux Lady Tigers!"
