Meet Betty, or Feisty Betty as Some Call Her

A staff member at the Blake described her as “a feisty funny lady, with a sweet smile. Betty always has the employees laughing”. Betty has seen Shreveport-Bossier change right before her eyes. She went to Byrd High School and after high school she attended LSU Betty was very involved in the community and loved to volunteer she was also a member of Junior League. One thing Betty still loves is receiving mail and reading it. So what would make her day? A letter from you. The staff at the Blake in Bossier have called on their friends and family to send mail to reach the goal of 100 cards by here 100th birthday. We do know that Betty’s favorite color is Emerald Green.

We hope that Betty gets to see 100 cards on her 100th birthday.
