Craig Morgan Sings the National Anthem at Not One, But Two MLB Games [Watch]

Craig Morgan got to show off his voice, and patriotism, for baseball fans in two different cities recently.

Morgan, an Army Reserve solider, was asked to sing the National Anthem for the Chicago White Sox on March 28 for their season opener against the Detroit Tigers.

Then, he showed up to sing for the home opener of the New York Yankees against the Toronto Blue Jays on April 5.

Despite his vocal intro, the home teams didn't fare too well, as both teams fell. Morgan can't be blamed for the White Sox — they are currently the worst team in the American League.

Morgan served 17 years in the Army and the Army Reserve before once again enlisting in the Army Reserves last year. He was sworn in on the stage of the Grand Ole Opry in July of 2023, a moment that was caught on his instagram page:

Morgan has not slowed down when it comes to making music, either: He released Enlisted in October, a six-track EP featuring appearances from Jelly Roll, Trace Adkins, Luke Combs, Blake Shelton, Lainey Wilson and more. He also co-authored God, Family, Country which chronicles Morgan's early days in Tennessee to his military exploits and life in country music.

He is set to perform at the Grand Ole Opry again on April 20. He will start touring again in late April, with shows planned in Florida, North Carolina and Kentucky in the early part of May.
