Watch Jelly Roll Do Standup Comedy at the Netflix Is a Joke Fest

Jelly Roll is aiming to add a new hyphenate to his resume. The singer recently hosted an evening of comedy in Los Angeles as part of the Netflix Is a Joke Fest. He even did his own set of standup comedy!

He shared the experience as a vlog on YouTube, documenting his arrival to the city's Greek Theatre and the time he spent with all the comedians and performers at the show.

He also shared a snippet of his comedy set.

Jelly's set starts just under the 3-minute mark in his vlog.

His subject matter ranged from his music to the time he spent in prison. His dramatic weight loss journey wasn't off-limits, either.

"I have lost quite a bit of weight," he said at one point. "I was always fat, but when I was born, it wasn't a delivery, it was a DiGiorno's."

He even took a jab at his own tour boss. "I figured if Post Malone could try country music, I could try comedy," he said.

What Else Does Jelly Roll Do Besides Music?

In his relatively short time as a country superstar, Jelly's aspirations have been sprawling. He has frequently participated in WWE events and was even the subject of an episode of Netflix's WWE: Unreal.

Jelly also recently tried his hand at acting. He's made appearances in Tulsa King and Fire Country, and he voiced the character of Griff in animated sports comedy Goat.

Of course, Jelly has continued to work hard on his weight loss journey. During the Netflix is a Joke Fest, he and comedian Bert Kreischer attended the Two Bears 5k event.

It was his second consecutive year participating in that event.
