A car dealership in Lafayette, Louisiana is looking for one of its most loyal team members, Milo, after someone mistakingly took it.

This photo of the cat was shared by those who work at Courtesy Preowned Ambassador on social media after they noticed it was missing.

A customer who was recently on the lot to purchase a vehicle mistakingly took the cat. She did not know that the cat belonged to the dealership and took it, thinking that she was rescuing it from the lot.

When the customer, who left the lot with Milo, stopped at a Lafayette gas station, Milo made a quick escape and got out of the car.

An employee at the car dealership tells me that Milo has been on the lot off of Ambassador Caffery for five years and it has its toys and more on the lot. So yes, Milo is part of the family, and those who work at Courtesy Preowned hope to have Millo returned home.

Milo was last seen in the area of Kalistee Saloom and Martial Avenue. If you see the yellow cat give our friends a call at (337) 984-5100.

We hope that Milo makes it home for the holidays and before temperatures get very cold in Acadiana.

Here's another look at Milo, from inside the dealership in Lafayette.
