Driver in Louisiana Hits Convenience Store, Flees the Scene

A driver in Iberville Parish is lucky to be alive after he hit a convenience store.

BRProud reports that after 10 pm on Monday night, a driver struck Lil Pigeon located at 39285 Bayou Pigeon Road.

As you'll see in the video here, the truck left the roadway at a high rate of speed and eventually hit the store.

The driver of the truck narrowly missed what appears to be gas pumps in the parking lot.

After hitting the store, the driver reportedly left the scene of the crash but later turned himself into the police.

Seth Jerome Hamilton was charged with hit-and-run with no personal injury and aggravated criminal damage to property.

BRProud reports that the entire wall of the convenience store was damaged in this incident.
