Mondo Duplantis has set another World Record at the Olympics and he credits LSU's Tiger Stadium in Baton Rouge, Louisiana for his achievement.

If you've ever been to Tiger Stadium at LSU on a Saturday night you know that it is loud and it can shake the surface of the earth. After all, crowds in Tiger Stadium have been known to shake the earth, and Duplantis knows all about that.

Yes, Mondo Duplantis is American and he attended LSU where he set many records in Track & Field and became a star athlete for the university.

The Lafayette native recently won the Gold Medal in Pole Vaulting at the Olympics in France and he believes that the noise and excitement in Tiger Stadium may have prepared him for the moment.

Mondo said that while he was on the runway at the Olympics, the stadium was so loud that it reminded him of Tiger Stadium on a Saturday night. So, the noise and excitement did not interfere with Duplantis' performance and it motivated him.

Here's the message shared by LSU Football on social media.
