Storms that pushed through Louisiana on Wednesday morning dropped several inches of rain in some areas and one of the most impacted parts of the state was in New Orleans.

Several photos and videos surfaced on social media that showed serious flooding around New Orleans, but one video seemed to put things into perspective.


School districts across much of the state elected to close on Wednesday, but some did not and now this is the result of some schools being open even with the storm threat.

Watch as this young lady navigates through what some called "contaminated water" in New Orleans, just to get home from school.
