Grandparent in Louisiana Finds Syringes in Sonic Food Bag
Police in Ville Platte, Louisiana are investigating how two syringes ended up in a Sonic bag, filled with food.
KLFY News 10 reports that a grandparent found the two syringes in their grandchild's bag before handing it to them.
Now, the grandparent, Michael Nelson, wants answers and for other parents to be aware of what happened to his family.
Nelson told KLFY TV 10 that once the syringes were found in the food bag, the place should have been shut down for the day.
According to the report, the syringes belonged to an employee at the carhop who had diabetes. Still, that does not sit well with the grandparent who says that had his grandchild stuck himself with the needle, it could have been fatal.
Ville Platte Police are now investigating how the syringes ended up in a food bag and then served to a customer.
