UPDATE – Joan Rivers Reported To Be In Critical Condition

TMZ has reported comedian/actress Joan Rivers is in critical condition.

Joan Rivers, the 81-year-old comedienne, is in critical condition after she stopped breathing during surgery.

During throat surgery, Rivers stopped breathing, and was rushed to Mount Sinai Hospital in NewYork. She is currently in critical condition.

12:40 PM UPDATE - E! News reports that Rivers is now in "stable condition."
