Joey Martin Feek, of Joey + Rory, the country music duo, has been rushed to hospice care in Indiana. Joey's condition, after her terminal cancer diagnosis, has been updated by her husband Rory on his blog entitled 'This Life I Live - Scenes from One Man's Extraordinary, Ordinary Life'. Even though a nationwide prayer vigil was held last Thursday, things have been deteriorating rapidly for Joey, who first came to fame on CMT's 'Can You Duet' Show in 2008.

After being in hospice over the weekend, with high doses of morphine to ease Joey's pain, it looks like Rory has made the decision to take her home, to be with her family, and her precious baby Indiana, for what could be the end of her life. Rory Feek's blog post from this morning is titled 'An Answer to a Prayer', and it really is heartbreaking. Joey + Rory came to the radio station for 'Live in the Lobby' a couple of years ago, that's the photo of them and me above, and they were so nice. Really nice.....and I'm so sad for them. Prayers are definitely needed, if you can send up a few.
