Joey Martin Feek Has Died

After a long and painful battle with cancer, Joey Feek, of the country music duo Joey + Rory, has died. According to Rory Feek's blog post today, March 4, 'My wife's greatest dream has come true, she is in heaven'.

The 40 year old was diagnosed with cervical cancer in 2014, and had stopped treatment last year to be at home with her family in her last days. The duo was nominated for a Grammy Award earlier this year for Best Country Duo/Group Performance category with their song “If I Needed You.”
