TMZ is reporting that Justin Timberlake could face jail time and fine after he snapped this photo of him voting.

While back home, in Tennessee, the singer fulfilled his voting duties, but he elected to snap a selfie of him voting. That is illegal in the state of Tennessee.

If found to be in violation of the law, Timberlake could face up to 30 days in jail and pay a $50 fine.

According to the report, an official with the election board does not want the entertainer to be prosecuted, but does his condemn his actions.

If you're curious, you can take a selfie in a voting booth in Louisiana. However, officials discourage it.
