In my opinion, kids are the most precious and amazing human beings walking God's green earth. They can be so much fun...and a big pain in the rear all at the same time!

A new survey asked 2,000 parents how much of parenting is "fun" and how much of it is "hard work". The majority said it's about a 50/50 split, which I find very interesting.

The survey asked how old their kids were when they were the most fun to be around. And the average answer was age five.

That's when most kids can communicate well and it's also when they develop a sense of humor.

On the flip side, parents in the survey said the most stressful age is when they're 10 to 12 years old.

The researchers don't say why this is the case, but we can probably assume it's when they start rebelling and stop doing what you say without questioning you.
