Kim Kardashian’s New Emoji Nearly Crashes Apple’s App Store

Kim Kardashian nearly broke the Apple app store.

On Monday, Kim launched "Kimoji", which are basically Kim-themed emojis, and the response was just crazy. So many people tried downloading the app at once, the Apple app store couldn't handle it and nearly crashed.

At one point it was getting downloaded 9,000 times per millisecond!

The Apple tech team was able to quickly swoon in however and save the day, making sure things didn't fully crash.
