People always dream of being a famous star and Hollywood celebrity, not me I wouldn't last ten minutes in the glare of the spotlights. Kirstie Alley sure knows the ins and outs and ups and downs of being famous. She has basically been a punchline for fat jokes for the past few years but still she has a quiet dignity about her. I like Kirstie Alley, she was funny on CHEERS and she's funny in her interviews and she just isn't a teeny tiny lady. She is who she is and I like that about her. I am glad she will be Dancing with the Stars this year. I won't be watching but while I am sleeping during the show I will dream of cheering for her because she is true to who she is and in Hollywood that is a rare commodity.

"She wasn't ready last season. Mentally and physically she just couldn't get her head around doing the show," a friend of the actress tells me. "Kirstie just turned 60, so I think she decided to take on her fear before it was too late."

So have you picked out a favorite for this years DWTS competition? I know who I like, how about you?
