Two Lafayette Businesses Announce Permanent Closures
LAFAYETTE, La. (KMDL-FM) - In the ever-changing business landscape in the Acadiana area, there’s some unfortunate business news to report today in the form of two businesses shuttering their doors.
Everbowl in River Ranch Closes Permanently
The first that has closed is Everbowl, which was located in River Ranch at 116 Rue Promenade, Suite 400.
A handwritten note taped to the front door reads, "Closed permanently! Thanks for your business."
Everbowl is a California-based company with independently owned and operated locations. It specializes in providing healthy and delicious acai bowls, smoothies, and other superfood-based meals.
Unfortunately, there has been a bit of a glut in our market of these types of stores. However, that's no knock on Everbowl or the quality food and service they provided at this location.

The Lafayette location of Everbowl had been open since April 2023.
Unfortunately, Everbowl isn’t the only local business closing its doors this month.
Reflections of Olde Antique Mall to Close After 25 Years
The other business closure is Reflections of Olde Antique Mall, located at 700 W Congress St, at St John St near Downtown Lafayette.

Owners Gwen and Kerry Miller took to social media to announce that the "Lafayette's Premier Antique Mall" would be closing after 25 years in business.
It appears that the business will shutter its doors by the end of October after a "special retirement sale" for the remainder of the month.
We wish the owners the best of luck in their life's next chapter.
