(KMDL-FM) Weather forecasters are painting a dismal picture of what Lafayette, Louisiana, and Acadiana can expect in terms of outdoor conditions over the next few days. But even though the skies may be filled with rain and our streets filled with water that is waiting to drain, we still have to eat.

Now would be a good time to remind you that heavy rain is forecast not only for today but for tonight, tomorrow, and well into the end of the week. Flood Watches are posted, and the next few days could bring up to ten inches of rainfall to the region. This is a serious weather situation.

And with the advent of so many delivery services in the area, the choices for hungry folks in Acadiana on a rainy day aren’t limited to just pizza anymore. Perhaps that’s why Domino’s, Papa John’s, and Pizza Hut are having to make some hard choices as they look for better ways to do business.
