Lafayette General Health is conducting community COVID-19 testing in St. Martin and St. Mary Parishes throughout the month of June.

Today, testing will wrap up at 4:00 p.m. at the Cecilia Civic Center in Breaux Bridge. Starting tomorrow and lasting until Wednesday, June 17, LGH officials will be conducting drive-thru testing at the Arnaudville Civic Center located on 271 Guidroz Street in Arnaudville. It will last from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. each day.

Testing is open to Louisiana residents of all ages, even those who may be asymptomatic.

Here are a few other details you need to know:

  • Bring a valid ID and insurance card.
  • There are no out-of-pocket costs for those seeking a test and no one will be turned away based on their insurance status.
  • Remain in your vehicle at all times. No more than 4 people should be inside the vehicle.
  • Community members will receive their test results within 24-72 hours via the MyHealth patient portal. Those with a positive result will also be contacted by phone.

Keep in mind, testing could be canceled because of weather conditions.

Meanwhile, drive-thru testing sites will shift to Catahoula Park in St. Martinville (Thursday, June 18 - Wednesday, June 24) and Stephensville Elementary School in Morgan City (Thursday, June 25 - Wednesday, July 1) later this month.
