Lafayette’s MacKenzie Bourg Needs Your Help on ‘The Voice’ Tonight

Lafayette's MacKenzie Bourg hopes to keep chugging along on The Voice as he performs on the show tonight which kicks off at 7pm. He also needs your help. This week, viewers will have a chance to vote for MacKenzie in upcoming rounds.

Last week, as you may recall, Bourg did a stripped down acoustic version of the smash pop hit "Call Me Maybe" by Carly Rae Jepson. The cover garnered him nice reviews and he was invited to stay on Team Cee-Lo.

"I wanted to try to take something that was so universally known and completely flip it," Bourg said. "I thought that if I could get anywhere near the acceptance as the original, it would immensely work in my favor. I've spent a lot of time crafting myself into a true artist, and I feel like doing the song that way showed how hard I've worked at doing that."

Tonight's show will mark the fourth performance for Bourg on The Voice. Good luck MacKenzie from your friends at 97.3 The Dawg! And as we say in Louisiana, "vote early, vote often!"
