LDH: August 10th Louisiana COVID-19 UPDATE

The Louisiana Department of Health has issued its daily update for Monday, August 10th.

Before reading on, this was the message posted by LDH for today's numbers: "Laboratory reporting appears to be incomplete, potentially affecting case and test counts. Technical staff are investigating."

There have been 131,961 confirmed cases of coronavirus in Louisiana. That's 562 more reported cases since yesterday.

Numbers show that there are 1,382 reported COVID-19 patients currently hospitalized. That's down 1 since yesterday.

215 patients are on ventilators across the state. That is 5 more than yesterday

The total number of deaths due to COVID-19 is 4,169. That is 24 more reported deaths since yesterday.

As of today, 89,083 COVID-19 patients are presumed to have recovered. That's 14,837 presumed recovered patients since the last report released last week.
