LDH: August 12th Louisiana COVID-19 UPDATE

The Louisiana Department of Health has issued its daily update for Wednesday, August 12th.

There have been 134,304 confirmed cases of coronavirus in Louisiana. That's 1,179 more reported cases since yesterday.

Numbers show that there are 1,335 reported COVID-19 patients currently hospitalized. That's the same as yesterday.

214 patients are on ventilators across the state. That is the same as yesterday.

(According to LDH: Due to recent changes in federal reporting requirements, hospital related data has been delayed. LDH will update these data as soon as possible.)

The total number of deaths due to COVID-19 is 4,238. That is 43 more reported deaths since yesterday.

As of today, 103,512 COVID-19 patients are presumed to have recovered, as of August 3rd. That's 14,429 presumed recovered patients since the last report released.
