Numbers show that there are 1,320 reported COVID-19 patients currently hospitalized. That's 15 fewer hospitalizations since yesterday.

211 patients are on ventilators across the state. That is 3 fewer yesterday.

The total number of deaths due to COVID-19 is 4,279. That is 41 more reported deaths since yesterday.

As of today, 103,512 COVID-19 patients are presumed to have recovered, as of August 3rd. That's 14,429 presumed recovered patients since the last report released.

The total number of coronavirus cases that have been in the Acadiana region is 22,001 with 496 total deaths reported.

Lafayette Parish: 7,846 total cases, 100 total deaths
