Numbers show that there are 900 reported COVID-19 patients currently hospitalized. That is 24 more reported hospitalizations since yesterday.

141 patients are on ventilators across the state. That is 4 fewer patients on ventilators than yesterday.

The total number of deaths due to COVID-19 is 4,741. That is 30 more reported deaths since yesterday.

As of today, 127,918 COVID-19 patients are presumed to have recovered, as of August 24th. That's 9,798 more recovered cases than the week before.

Lafayette Parish: 8,216 total cases, 110 total deaths
