LEDA Job Fair Set For Thursday In Lafayette
Prospective employers are hoping to connect with prospective employees at the annual Lafayette Economic Development Authority Job Fair on Thursday. The event which is free to the public will be held in the Cajundome Convention Center from 9 am until 2 pm.
This year's job fair boasts more than 100 different employers who will be looking for individuals with a variety of skills. Job fair attendees are encouraged to bring several copies of a current resume' and to come dressed to interview on the spot.
In addition to making connections between job seekers and those who need workers, this year's job fair will again feature several educational seminars too. One such seminar will focus on how to market yourself for your next great opportunity. The other will offer advice on how to best follow up on leads attained at the job fair.
