A lasting legacy to two innocent victims, that is the intent of a fundraiser that was announced by Lafayette General Medical Center.  The fundraiser will consist of sales of t-shirts featuring a Lov Laf Strong icon, like the one you see pictured here. The cost of each shirt will be $20.

Proceeds from the sales of these Lafayette Strong shirts will honor the memory of Jillian Johnson  who was killed by a gunman during a shooting spree at Lafayette's Grand 16 Theater on Thursday night.

A portion of the proceeds from the sales will go to help build playgrounds at Lafayette's Horse Farm park. If you wish to have one of these shirts and support the fundraising drive they will be available at Louisiana Hot Stuff on Kaliste Saloom. Those wishing to order shirts ahead of time may do so online or by calling (337) 981-3132. Please note these shirts will not be available at Lafayette General Medical Center or any of their subsidiary facilities.

LGMC also announced that a portion of monies raised during their October United Way Campaign will be donated to LSU-Eunice in order to establish a radiologic technology scholarship that will honor the  memory of Mayci Breaux.
