Last year Corporal Patrick Ray, 30, saved 2-year-old Bexley's life when she choked on a coin while at home in Rowlett,Texas. The other day, Bexely's mother decided to celebrate the anniversary of her daughter's life being saved by inviting officer Ray to a tea party and photo shoot. Officer Ray accepted, and it's one of the sweetest things you'll see all week.

After Ray saved the little girl's life last year, he even went to the hospital afterwards to check on her. Bexley's mother, Tammy Norvell tells CNN.com "Last time I checked, that was not their job description."

As the two caught up, they shared Apple Jacks and Oreos.

Norvell tells CNN.com "Ray saved Bexley's life that day. I'm not going to let someone like that walk out of my life."
