
Louisiana Child Nearly Dies, Sees God and Angels in Heaven
Lafayette, Louisiana (KMDL) - Carencro native Krista Parker and her family were enjoying a fun, relaxing 4th of July weekend at Paragon Casino Resort in Avoyelles Parish when in the blink of an eye, tragedy struck.
As the family was enjoying hanging out by the pool, in an instance Parker's 6-year-old son DJ was suddenly drowning.
DJ was thankfully saved due to quick thinking, prayer, and CPR, but it's what the child said the moment he was revived that is making headlines.
Louisiana Child Nearly Dies In Drowning
In an interview with KLFY, Krista Parker that her DJ was sitting at the pool with his feet in the water. She says she wasn't concerned that he would jump into the water because he's scared of water.
In an instant Parker says she saw DJ in the pool looking lifeless.

Parker tells KLFY -
We just started screaming, God name first and we kind of panicked but something told me to wait let’s do CPR.
Let’s try to revive him and while I’m reviving him. I’m just praying. God please call your angels.
Parker and her husband quickly scooped DJ out of the pool and began performing CPR, and praying.
Eventually, DJ began throwing up the water he had ingested while drowning and was revived.
The ambulance then showed up at Paragon and quickly rushed DJ to Rapides Women’s and Children’s Hospital.
That's when DJ began to tell the nurse that he went to Heaven, and that God is real.
Parker tells KLFY he then turned to them and said "No, Daddy, no momma. God is real. I saw him. I saw him and uncle Quimaine."
DJ says that God spoke to him and told him he had "One more life".
He says that he heard angels and saw a bunch of clouds.
Parker asked DJ what God looks like and says he told her that "God was mixed with every color white, black, even Mexican and he’s just mixed with all colors".
