Louisiana Free Fishing Weekend June 8 & 9

Louisiana Wildlife and Fisheries Commission and the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries (LDWF) have announced that June 8-9 will be a free fishing weekend for Louisiana residents and visitors.

The promotional fishing dates have been designed to give novice and seasoned anglers the opportunity to experience fishing in fresh or salt water without the purchase of a recreational fishing license. So that means, if you want to give fishing a try, June 8 & 9 is your opportunity to do it free! Yay!
