
Louisiana Woman Kicks in Apartment Door, Stabs Victim in Face and Arms
BATON ROUGE, La. - A shocking and violent incident in Baton Rouge has led to the arrest of a woman accused of breaking into an apartment and attacking a resident with a knife.
According to authorities, the disturbing encounter escalated quickly and left the victim with serious injuries.
Woman Arrested After Violent Baton Rouge Apartment Attack
According to WBRZ, investigators with the Baton Rouge Police Department say the suspect, identified as 26-year-old Shadraiona Solomon, went to an apartment on North Ardenwood Drive earlier this month.

Police reports show she was attempting to retrieve personal belongings from someone inside the apartment. When the occupant refused to open the door, tensions escalated rapidly.
Door Kicked In Before Brutal Stabbing, Police Say
Once inside, police allege she was armed with a large kitchen knife and began attacking the resident. The victim was stabbed multiple times, including injuries to the face, head, and arms. At the time of the attack, the victim was reportedly on the phone with police, who were already being called to the scene.

Victim Dragged Across Parking Lot During Escape
Unfortunately, the situation didn’t stop inside the apartment.

Solomon then chased them to grab the phone, eventually dragging them across the apartment complex's parking lot while driving away in her car. This caused a road rash on the victim's right leg, the warrant added.

Arrest Made, Multiple Charges Filed
After several weeks, Baton Rouge police located and arrested Solomon. She was booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison and now faces multiple serious charges, including:
Home invasion
Aggravated second-degree battery
Armed robbery
Criminal damage to property
Police have not released additional details about the victim’s current condition at this time.
