LSU defensive back Jalen Mills was arrested early this morning on a charge of battery and has been suspended indefinitely from the LSU football team

According to an article on foxsports.com, Mills was booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison for allegedly punching a woman in the mouth.  The alleged incident happened back on May 4th.

The article goes on to quote WAFB-TV which says police contacted Mills back on May 29th.  He said he was in Houston and made an appointment for June 10th.  When he failed to show up for the appointment, a warrant was issued for his arrest.

The woman had a cut lip that required four sutures.
