LSU's 45-38 victory Saturday night impressed football fans around America.

It also impressed the voters in the AP poll.

The Tigers vaulted over Oklahoma and Ohio State to grab the number four spot in the poll released Sunday.

The top three, Clemson, Alabama and Georgia remained atop the poll.  Oklahoma is now fifth and Ohio State sixth.  Notre Dame, Auburn, Florida and Michigan rounded out the top ten.  Texas dropped three spots to number 12.

In the Amway/USA Today coaches' poll, LSU rose one spot to #5.  Oklahoma was fourth.  That poll had the same teams in the top ten, but in a slightly different order.  Notre Dame was seventh, followed by Florida, Auburn and Michigan.  Texas dropped to #13 in that poll.
