Last night, police received multiple calls as parents reportedly began finding loose razor blades in their kid's candy baskets.

Wgno.com reports authorities tracked down Jason Racz, 37 of Waterbury, Conn. Racz was taken into custody as the person believed to be responsible.

Racz tells police the razor blades were accidentally spilled or placed into the bowl he handed out the candy from.

No razor blades were found inside of candy.

From wgno.com -

"Racz did not provide an explanation as to how the razor blades were handed out to children along with candy. Police also determined the 3-year-old living at the home had access to a box of razor blades."

Thankfully no injuries have been reported.

Racz was arrested and charged with risk of injury to a minor, reckless endangerment and interfering with a police officer. He is currently being held on a $250,000 bond.
