Man Identified After Death In Lawtell

St. Landry Parish Sheriff Bobby Guidroz says that his detectives are working to figure out the circumstances of a man's death in Lawtell.

Deputy Chief Eddie Thibodeaux says, via press release, that the man has been identified at 66-year-old Joseph Vallian.

The man was found at a home in the 400 block of McClelland Street after a call came into the 911 dispatch center yesterday after 5 o'clock.

Thibodeaux says they are not giving out any other details right now, but an autopsy is pending in connection with this investigation.
