Currently, marijuana is available (legally) in Louisiana by prescription only. The prescription process is merely a facade. If you can fill out the paperwork and visit with a doctor, chances are you'll get approved for medical use.

But this narrative is not about whether you should or shouldn't or whether you could or couldn't use marijuana legally. It's here in the state, and it's only going to be playing a bigger part in our state's economy.

To me, there appear to be two different types of cannabis users. Some use it like a medication. They take it at the proper time to relieve certain symptoms.  I don't actually know anyone who uses pot that way; most of the folks I have spoken with use this medication recreationally.  Yes, under the guise of prescription medication.
