Many consider riding a motorcycle dangerous enough. However, in Tempe, Arizona, a concerned citizen who snapped a biker cop texting while driving at 80 miles an hour, kicks up the danger level just a tad!

The citizen passed along the picture to a local television station, which in turn aired the photo on its newscast. And, you can bet this caught the attention of the Tempe Police Department which released a statement that read: "The Tempe Police Department does not condone this type of distracted driving. In fact we have instituted specific policies prohibiting texting while operating police vehicles."

The Tempe Police Department went on to say that the officer, who wasn't identified, was counseled about the infraction, and the matter was considered closed.

By the way, Arizona is one of only six states that does not have a ban on texting while driving.
