Motorcycle Suspect Identified

Officers with the New Iberia Police Department received a call in reference to a subject recklessly riding a motorcycle on Hopkins St and Admiral Doyle on Monday.

While responding to this call, officers were alerted to another incident  concerning a subject who rode a motorcycle into Walmart.

The Driver has been identified as Richard Darby Jr. W/M the owner and rider of the motorcycle.

Mr. Darby was removed from Walmart and taken to a local hospital for evaluation.

This incident is still under investigation with possible charges pending.
