Asian giant hornets, which scientists call "murder hornets" have been spotted in the United States. 2020 continues to point and laughing our faces...

Scientists say "murder hornets" are invasive and potentially deadly according to WAFB.com. The hornet's venom can be deadly to humans if stung multiple times.

As of now, researchers aren't sure how the 'murder hornets" made it into the country. They originate from Japan and reportedly kill roughly 50 people a year.

Oh, they apparently hate bees too. They have been observed attacking beehives in Washinton state.

They were first spotted last December in Washinton State and have just recently become active again.
